Prophetic Beauty

These hands have cared for her in a thousand different ways over the last 19 years.

And now, here I am using them to do her makeup. 🤍
It’s something I’ve done for women for more than 30 years, but when the face looking back at me is hers, I’m reminded of something I’ve always believed:
My job has never been to make someone beautiful. She already is.

Makeup is personal. There’s a trust that happens when someone sits in your chair and allows you into their space..to really see them, listen to them, and enhance what is already there.

That’s the kind of beauty experience I want to offer every woman who sits in my chair.

Not to recreate you.

Not to cover you up.

But to help you see the beauty that was there all along.

And what a privilege it is when someone trusts me enough to do just that. 🤍

She’s been my right-hand girl from the very beginning. 😂💄

From doing my hair and makeup when she was little… to having me do hers at 19🥹

But somewhere along the way, she became so much more than my little makeup assistant.
She’s my right-hand gal, my partner in crime, my sounding board, my “come with me” girl, and the one who is usually right there beside me for whatever crazy idea comes next. 😂

We’ve done a whole lot of life together…
Here’s to whatever we get ourselves into next. 😂🥂
