A fun lil salon shoot!

Here’s to 45 fu***ng laps around the sun! ☀️ My day started off with talking to my beautiful daughter on her way to nursing school, seeing the flowered and card my husband left in the kitchen (bc it’s also our 15th wedding anniversary today), card and candy from my son, a surprise visit from Lili who brought my fave coffee from Ellianos, thoughtful gifts from my clients and stylists, dinner with my family and running into good friends who ere there celebrating a birthday as well! All while showered with tons of texts, calls, and messages from everyone! It was a great day! 💚

The total transformation-

I started my journey with just growing in a silver streak and after a little over a year of the streak, I started embracing the rest!

I severed ties with my beloved red at 16 months, but I could have waited a little longer bc I felt that it was pretty short for my liking on me. May will be 24 months of growth! I’m digging the length it is now, and every now and then, I’ll throw a red wig on (last pic)! ❤️

Growing your hair out is not easy at all, but I enjoyed every stage of mine and got compliments EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I get clients all the time who want to blend theirs by adding highlights to help the grow in but honestly, in my opinion, the best way is cold turkey!

Our girl did her initial s**g cut on her natural hair and colored, sewed, and blended those extensions in to create a long beautiful s**g.

The look was created with 6 wavy wefts of 20 inch .

Blending out this pixie over the past year has definitely been a mission. No, the blend hasn’t always been perfect. Yes, her hair texture has completely changed after chemo started and she lost it all. We do the best we can with what we have and we have rocked it every step of the way! 💚

I can’t believe this is year six of doing hair extensions with this beauty! She has very thin, fine hair, which is why we use the waterfall method for her bead placement. We keep her move-ups right around every six weeks so we can closely monitor the integrity of her hair, and she consistently has minimal shedding. Her natural hair is incredibly healthy and has grown so much over time. She’s living proof that fine-haired girlies can wear extensions long-term and still achieve beautiful, healthy results.
