I’m very late to an introductory post so here it is.
If you’re new here to my page I wanted to formally introduce myself.

Hello followers, new clients, current clients and friends my name is Stevie Quarry. I am a hair and makeup artist located in Hollidaysburg, Pa! The salon you can find me at is called Lux Hair studio. I’ve been doing makeup “professionally” for about 10 years, but not as a professional it’s been wayyyy longer. I’ve always been the girl to do my friends hair and makeup for every dance, homecoming, prom, wedding, or just for a fun night out. So it’s safe to safe my friends forced me to learn and get better and better every year 😅. I have a passion for bridal makeup. It has my heart and soul but I’ll always love an occasional prom, special event, or a fun night out kind of glam too. I specialize in soft glam and full glam looks. I also dabble with more natural makeup as well but my heart lies with the glam looks. I’ve been a hairstylist for about 8 years. I love all things blonding, brunette, and hair extensions! I also give amazing facials as well because of course with good skin comes even better makeup applications.
I’m an emo girl at heart, but I also like to be a girly girl too. Just imagine like old school Avril Lavine and Christina Aguilera had a baby that would be me 😅. I love all music but I would have to say country is probably my least favorite genre but i definitely still boot, scoot, and boogie to some 90’s country. So if you’re ever at the salon and I have control of the music you’ll hear just about everything. You gotta keep your options open. I’d also like to add that I am extremely funny ( so I’ve been told) and sometimes I have no filter. I’m very straight forward. Sometimes it comes off a little harsh but I promise I don’t mean it that way. I can hold a conversation like no other but if you prefer a silent appointment then that’s okay to!

I’m married and I have three babies. Two boys and we just welcomed a sweet baby girl into the family completing the Quarry fam bam. I also have a big floof butt puppy at home. His name is boots and he is a Bernese mountain dog. If you can’t find me at the salon or at a wedding doing makeup I’m at home with my family. I’m a big homebody and being with my babies is my happy place. I slack with my posting on social media because life is crazy with work and family but I’m striving to get better at that. One post every three months at a time 😅.

So anyways if you made it to the end of this I applaud you. I can ramble on. I’m always accepting new clients. I’ll start booking for 2027 weddings at the beginning of the year as this allows me to plan weekends off and a vacation. I’d love to meet you if you’re new and give you the best version of yourself, be a listening ear if you just need to vent or talk, and I’ll always provide a good belly laugh. Welcome to my page!
