🎉 One of my favorite things about having my own gym is I get to decide what we celebrate.
This week, we’re celebrating two incredible milestones. ❤️
💥 Wednesday at 5:00 AM, Craig is scheduled to hit 400 check-ins! That’s 400 times he chose to show up.
🎉 Next week, Lily celebrates another year with the FWP family. Another year of consistency, hard work, and investing in herself.
These are the things that matter to me. Not just weight lost or PRs—but showing up, building habits, and staying committed.
So… who’s joining us?
🙌 Who’s going to be here Wednesday morning to cheer Craig on for #400?
🎈 Who’s coming next week to help us celebrate Lily’s membership anniversary?
Let’s pack the gym, make some noise, and celebrate what this community is all about. ❤️
Real people. Real work. Real results.

Every high school athlete who trains at Fitness W Purpose trains on the rings. Every. Single. One.
Why? Because strength isn’t just about lifting heavier weights—it’s about controlling your own body first.
Ring training develops the stabilizer muscles that traditional lifting often misses. It builds shoulder stability, grip strength, core control, body awareness, and joint integrity. Those qualities don’t just make athletes stronger—they help them move better, perform better, and become more resilient.
If an athlete can’t control their own body, adding more weight isn’t the answer.
We build the foundation first. Then we build the athlete.
🔥 Huge shout-out to Nick! Way to go on mastering the Skin the Cat into the hold and taking the ride all the way into the Candlestick. That takes strength, control, confidence, and trust in the process.
Amazing work, Nick. Keep raising the bar!
Purpose. Process. Performance. 💪🏽
You’re never too young… or too old… to enjoy a set of rings and a toe-to-bar.
There’s something special about hanging from the rings—stretching your body while building strength at the same time. It develops grip, shoulder mobility, core strength, coordination, and confidence… all while feeling like play.
A huge shoutout to Mila for absolutely crushing it today! At just 5 years old, she’s becoming stronger, more confident, and more capable every single week. Watching her grow through movement has been so much fun.
This is what Performance Training is all about—not just creating better athletes, but building strong, healthy, confident humans from the very beginning.
Never stop playing. Your body was made for it.
Tomorrow: We level it up.
Same movement. New challenge.
Instead of a narrow-body L-sit, we’re opening into a wide V-sit while hanging from the rope. That wider position changes everything—it demands more hip mobility, core strength, grip endurance, and body control.
This isn’t about showing off a trick.
It’s about teaching your body to move through space with strength and confidence.
One progression at a time. One skill building on the next.
Performance isn’t built in a day. It’s built by stacking skills.
Who’s ready for tomorrow? 💪🔥

Before you buy your child’s back-to-school shoes… read this.
As a trainer, I’m seeing something I never used to see in kids.
I’m seeing 13-, 14-, and 16-year-olds with ankles that don’t move well, big toes that don’t lift, and feet that aren’t doing the job they were designed to do.
One thing I encourage parents to think about is this:
Running shoes are made for running. They’re not necessarily the best choice for wearing all day, every day.
Many running shoes are built with extra cushioning and features to make running more comfortable. That’s great when you’re running. But if they’re worn from the first bell to bedtime, your child’s feet may spend less time doing the work of balancing, stabilizing, and moving naturally.
Our feet should bend.
Our toes should lift.
Our ankles should move.
When they don’t, the body often starts compensating somewhere else.
As your kids head back to school, don’t just ask:
“Are these comfortable?”
Also ask:
“Will these let my child’s feet move?”
The goal isn’t to avoid running shoes altogether—it’s to wear the right shoe for the right job.
Healthy movement starts from the ground up, and strong feet today can help support healthy movement for years to come.
Parents: What shoes are you planning to buy for back-to-school? I’d love to hear what you’re looking at.
This is what happens when training becomes play. ❤️
This morning, these two were working on one of the most intimidating ring skills—the Skin the Cat.
Not only did they learn it from a seated L-sit… they turned it into a game by high-fiving each other’s feet while upside down. 😂🙌
That smile. That laughter. That confidence.
This is why I love what I do.
Movement should challenge you, but it should also bring out the kid in you. When people feel safe enough to laugh, try something new, and celebrate each other’s wins, that’s where real progress happens.
Fitness doesn’t have to feel like punishment. Sometimes it feels like recess.
Come play with us.

Experiment #1 ✔️
Tonight I had one goal…
Can I make a granola bar using simple, real ingredients?
🥔 Sweet potato
🌾 Rolled oats
🍁 Pure maple syrup
That’s it.
No preservatives. No fillers. No ingredients I can’t pronounce.
Are they perfect? Nope.
Will I tweak the recipe? Absolutely.
But every step toward eating real food is a win.
Sometimes healthy living isn’t about finding the perfect recipe. It’s about being willing to experiment until you find what works for you.
Real people. Real food. Real progress.
