You showed up in leggings for a bikini wax?no no… Most people don’t realize that simple mistakes can make waxing more painful and less effective. Here’s how to prepare like a pro:

**1. Let It Grow!**
Avoid shaving for at least 10-14 days at min. Longer hair means better wax grip, resulting in smoother results and less irritation.

**2. Exfoliate morning of or night before**
Exfoliating removes dead skin and helps prevent ingrown hairs.

**3. Choose Loose, Comfy Clothing**
Tight jeans and leggings can rub against freshly waxed skin. Opt for loose fitting pants or a flowy dress. Undergarments should have no elastic, rubbing from them could cause irritation.

**4. Freshen Up Beforehand**
A quick shower or hygiene wipe can make a world of difference, especially for intimate waxing.

**5. Skip Moisturizers, Oils, & Fake Tan**
These can block the wax! Arrive with clean, dry skin so we can catch every hair.

**6. Arrive on Time **
Arrive right on time, and make sure you have filled out the consent form prior to your appointment so we know of any concerns!
