The price change overall will not be so noticeable, but when you are booking online you will notice your normal service titles have changed. I have shifted to package pricing to make the website easier to navigate. Instead of seeing itemized pricing and doing all of the math yourself to make your appropriate color budget, these packages will do it for you.

You'll see these packages as follows:
The Express
The Revive
The Alteration
&
The Transformation

The Express Package:
is for your every 4-6 week grey coverage appointments, but have a drop-down option to add haircuts at various lengths. It includes all your basic color needs and your styling.

The Revive Package:
is for those of you who receive any minor type of foiling services with your grey coverage/root color.
Also includes a glaze to refresh ends & recycled highlights.
Again your cut selection is in a dropdown menu.

The Alteration Package:
is where we get into medium-extensive highlighting/lowlighting with your glaze & all foiling techniques included in addition to your style.

The Transformation Package:
is exactly what it sounds like, major color shifting, major blonding & includes your haircut as well.

This structure change is in an effort to have more transparency surrounding your hair services.

You will also see an increase in your solo haircut pricing.

Hello my friends

Can you believe the holidays are here?! In just 6 and a half weeks we will be at the very end of 2023. This year has been full of belly laughs, joy, tears, surprises & so much more & we have been honored to walk through yet another incredible year with you.

As we close out this year you will see a few things from us popping up!

1. I have a new contact number! If you are an existing guest booking a new appointment we will be directing you to a new website interface path the opening of the new year. If for any reason you need to contact me or I contact you- it will be from this new phone number
(281)-810-3388- Please save this phone number under "Luna Loft"
- You can keep the original phone number for emergencies and/or margarita recipes

2. Our booking link has been removed from our website and in its place you will find "Consultation forms" this is because our website is for new customers only- if referring a customer to me you can send them the website! (Lunaloftcypress.com)

3. At this time I am not accepting new guests until the new year in order to ensure ample time for preexisting guests to have their favorite spots for the holidays! While this can disheartening for new guests looking to find someone ASAP- you can send me their contact info to the above-mentioned phone number and I will personally contact them at the beginning of the year.

*Please note that any text messages received Saturday afternoon-Monday will be returned Tuesday morning.*

MAJOR SCHEDULE CHANGE:
*I will also be stepping away from behind the chair an extra day next year to allow for a computer day each week to keep updates rolling out and the website being properly kept* *as of January 1 2024 I will no longer be servicing guests on Tuesdays*

This is all in an effort to streamline the way we do business & ensure that your appointments have the time and support they deserve.

This brings me to a new topic of Cancellations and Reschedules.

The rules have not changed- and a 48 hour notice to reschedule is expected so I may fit in people waiting on my waitlist. To avoid the cancellation fee please use the new phone number to reach out BEFORE the 24 hour mark. The holidays can be stressful but I will try to make it work if it is possible.

The day has finally come..

After a year of planning and many late night design meetings, overwhelm, regular new-construction delays, many trips to Home Depot & many personal lighting fails we have finally made it to opening day! Tomorrow, Wednesday June 14th, 2023 Luna Loft will open its doors for the very first time.

Lily and I are so excited to finally greet you at our very first store-front concept. Our compact design has been a challenge to execute but somehow- WE PULLED IT OFF! This was an absolute labor of SERIOUS LOVE. All of the late nights will be so worth it to share with you!

This location is barely half a mile from my temporary location inside of The Colour Bar.

A message for all my favorite Mom's

Happy mothers day to all of my guests, near and far who have showed up for me as much as your own children without being asked to. I'd be lost with you all. All these years I've been allowed to listen to your stories about the messes and the celebrations and the lessons. It's all equally as encouraging as some of it is devastating. I can't imagine all of the ups and downs you've lead your families through so effortlessly. I'm so honored to get to share in the small amounts of "me-time" you get. I love bringing you a hot tea, a new coffee, and occasionally a little peace.

A special shoutout to my own hairdresser momma, Kim. I wouldn't have known this industry was a fit for me if you hadn't encouraged me to think outside of the box. I know how proud of me you are- you tell me all the time. I know you and dad were both nervous for me to open my own place, but I also know how at peace you have become watching me grow. I know I was a tough kid, but I don't think I would have done anything differently. It all led me here. I'm still just as hard headed as I was then, but now I use my powers for good. :) Thankyou. I love you, mom!

Thankyou to everyone of you for all the times you've checked up on me, sent me holiday cards, brought me food, flowers, or just hugged me like you missed me. I can guarantee I missed you, too.

I get to do the job of my dreams because you believe in me the way my own mother does.

Christmas and New Years

I've been blessed with another year of working with some of the most incredible guests (y'all!) and doing what I love. Though the year was full of work, travel and many lessons- it was also full of small sweet moments that remind me why I do what I do, and most importantly, why I LOVE what I do.

As I close out another year owning The Salon Willow, even better things are on the horizon with a move into the newest location you will visit me at. That location already has an address- but only half of a building. We will be waiting for construction to be completed and look forward to building a new salon home inside of 17110 House Hahl road, Cypress, TX 77433 in the coming year.

After meeting with the future landlords it sounds like we will be moving in closer to April/ May. With this move- comes a NEW NAME! I have partnered with a friend of mine that many of you already know and love. Her name is Lily Orlando- and we can't wait to introduce you to the newest salon home- Luna Loft. It will be a lovely space that we are so unbelievably excited to show you all!

Beginning this Thursday I will be out of town (22-26) and back for 2 brief days before our New Years celebrations begin! (29-2)

As always- If you have any questions regarding the changes or the move I am more than happy to help! If I do not respond during those days out of office It is likely because I am celebrating time with those dear to me in the family.

Halloween is almost here and nothing is quite as spooky as trying a new hairstylist!

While most of you have been with me for years- there are still new guests finding me every day! Many of them are all thanks to you all being so kind and sharing me with your friends. None of this goes unnoticed and I wanted to send out a HUGE thank you for that!

In the interest of these new guests I happened to realize that I pick everything I do based upon review; did you like it, was it what you expected, what was your favorite part of the experience, etc. That led me to realize that I haven't really had a space dedicated to letting you all share what your experiences are like with me!

I would absolutely LOVE if you took a few minutes to send a review to this email address so I can share the joy. (( [email protected] )) Truly it's just to help newcomers feel more comfortable with stepping into a new chair!

I've just returned from a beautiful trip!

Mexico was a blast, but I am ready to be back in salon! Vacations are not very common on my scheduling books during the summer but fall is the time I come alive! Weekends from here on out are very strict & have hardly any openings.

HOWEVER, I have 2 Saturday openings for October that just came up! If either of these days work better for you.

Last minute openings
October 8 11:45pm
October 15 12pm

Please reach out to me so I can see if your required services will fit these timeframes if interested- serious inquiries only & $50 deposit required.

The month of November I will be gone for Thanksgiving but will be opening select Mondays to service prior to Thanksgiving holiday.

If you are coming home from college or back from out of town & wish to schedule please text me ASAP to select your times for thanksgiving.

Now on to a popular topic: Cancellations.

Cancellations during the last quarter of the year are difficult to fill & will result in a deposit being required for the next booking. I know that most of you offer to pay a cancellation fee before even considering rescheduling & that is so greatly appreciated as it shows how much you respect my time. I couldn't be more blessed with the guests currently in my book & heart.
