Let's Talk Skin Care! 😘 Here are 5 tips for healthy, glowing skin...
1. 🌞Always use sunscreen! This defends your skin from aging. If you are worried about breaking out, choose a formula that is packed with zinc. These products are typically non-greasy and non-irritating, making them ideal for acne-prone skin.
2.💦 Drink water! Drinking enough water is not only imperative for your health, it also hydrates your skin, leaving you with that natural glow.
3.💪 Exercise! This is SO important (again) not only for your health, but your skin. When you sweat, it sheds toxins and dead skin cells from the body, allowing new ones to grow! Exercise also manages stress levels too. Uncontrolled stress can make your skin more sensitive, triggering breakouts and other skin issues. So, GET MOVING!
4. 😴Make sure to get enough sleep! When you're lacking in sleep, it causes stress to the skin. And as previously stated, stress causes breakouts! Don't deprive your body and skin. Let it use that time to regenerate and recover from your day.
5. 🥰Treat your skin gently! Limit bath time and avoid long, hot showers. This removes oils from the skin. Make sure you also are avoiding strong soaps and detergents, as this also removes oils from the skin. After bathing, be sure to pat or blot yourself dry and moisturize to lock in the moisture it has already absorbed.
It's important to put in the time to care for yourself and your skin. It is, after all, the body's largest organ! It can tell you a lot about your health and your age.😉
