You do not want water to run down or in your clients face. Make sure the head is fully back in the bowl so that the water runs in the bowl only..

Precutting is a good thing to do when preparing to perform services. A lot of the time it’s hard to comb through virgin hair. If the plan is to cut it, you might as well cut it in the beginning.
