The original appointment was booked for a partial blonding and root melt to refresh her red, but my client has a big audition coming up, and decided she wanted something softer and more natural. Her inspo pics still had a lot of warmth so that put us in a great position to get as CLOSE to her goal as possible with the time we already had booked.

While her foils processed, I went through and did a wet balayage on her ends that still had a deeper red tone. The goal here isn’t to make the ends blonde, but to slightly shift the red into a copper tone so that during the root melt it’s neutralized enough to not read red and act as a strong foundation for her next appointment….after she makes the team 😏🤞🏽
