I ❤️ an old fashioned nightgown. This one is and so pretty and feminine, but can I wear it to school drop-off? My kids say no, but I’m on the fence. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Don’t forget to wash your face tonight - and no, a face wipe doesn’t count! 😘😉

I am trying two new hair products. I'm going to try the leave-in conditioner in place of my long-time fave, It's a 10, and I'm hoping the New Day Mist can help revive my second day hair. Even if it doesn't it smells so good I will use it anyway! ⁣

I always pick up luxury makeup during these sales. Tom Ford lipsticks are the perfect formula - they have a satin finish that lasts and when they do wear off they wear evenly. This new one is shade Twist of Fate - it has a little coral tint and looks perfect 👌🏼 for spring! I haven't tried a Tom Ford lip gloss before but I'm hoping it's a winner because this bright red shade is beautiful! ⁣

Last but not least is the highlighter in Brûlée. It's the only shade I didn't have yet and I'm planning to wear it on my lids as an easy shadow. So glowy! ✨ @ Dallas, Texas

Sometimes I see a new blush or lipstick color come across my screen and I immediately hit Add to Cart - I just can’t help it! This new shade Bichette in the Baby Cheeks from was just such a product! It is SO pretty and inspired me to give their foundation sticks another go. And while I was at it I picked up the contour stick too. It’s a whole face by ! 😍⁣

I am wearing the foundation in shades I and II here. They blend together really well and give a nice light coverage. You can add more and continue to blend if you’re looking for more coverage too. (Today I used the lighter shade under my eyes as concealer and I think I prefer adding my fave Cle De Peau.) ⁣

The blush is the amazing shade Bishette that made me try the whole line! It is a beautiful brick red. I have this same blush in Dou Dou and it’s a deep berry - also beautiful! 😍⁣

The contour stick is the easiest to use contour I’ve ever tried. I blended it around my hairline, onto my cheekbones and on my jawline and even my poor makeup skills were enough to make it look natural and flattering. ⁣

I had a terrible skin breakout over Christmas and New Years. 😩 It wasn’t the end of the world but it was just so frustrating! Especially since we were skiing and my makeup was completely worn off by the end of the day thanks to wearing a Covid mask and a neck gaiter. ⁣

But my skin seems to have turned a corner this week and I’m so thankful! ⁣

Here’s what I did to clear up my breakout and improve my texture. ⁣

✨ The SpectraLite mask. The blue light really got my blemishes under control and helped calm down the redness. I was so impressed with its quick work! I used it twice a day for over a week but am back to just once a day now. ⁣

✨ I went back to my old retinol. I was so excited about the initial results I was seeing with the new one I was trying but the pimples just weren’t worth it! They’re both from lines I bought from an esthetician but my tried and true is a lower percent and I’m going to stick with it for now.⁣

✨ Bye Bye Breakout from is my favorite pimple coverup. It provides full coverage for redness and blends well with the rest of your makeup. I carried it in my coat pocket on the slopes and would dab some on my spots before lunch! ☺️⁣

✨ Active Botanical Serum for my nighttime moisturizer. I’d been trying some other things and I don’t know why because I LOVE this oil! It really helps calm my skin and is the perfect last step in my nighttime routine. ⁣

I’m an unapologetic night owl. I have been forever. I’m married to one and we have two night owl kids. There’s no denying it! 😂 But this leads to trouble trying to work the into my morning ☀️ skincare routine. I always feel rushed!

But I’m happy to spend extra time on my nighttime routine! ☺️ The last few weeks I’ve used it BETWEEN my cleansing steps. I do my oil cleanse step, NuFace, second cleanse, LED mask, exfoliate, treat and moisturize! ⁣

If that sounds like a lot of steps that’s because it is. But it’s been a lovely ritual! And I can really see the results of getting back to regular NuFace use! ⁣

My jawline is much more defined and my cheekbones look a little higher. It’s subtle but it makes a real difference.⁣

I’ve also seen twice this fall for a microcurrent facial. The professional powered microcurrent is strong and super effective! Wanting to keep seeing those results has helped motivate me to keep using the NuFace too! ⁣

I curl my hair almost everyday. 💁‍♀️ I have fine hair that holds curl much better than it used to, but it still has a tendency to fall throughout the day. ⁣

And I don’t love the sticky feeling of hairspray in my hair so I almost never use it unless I’ve gotten a professional blowout or have an event - remember those?! 😭⁣

But I do LOVE texture spray. A texture spray gives your hair some grit so it keeps its curl and volume. I can really feel it in my hair but it doesn’t make it sticky or weigh it down. ⁣

I’ve tried many through the years and these (swipe 👉) are my favorite. ⁣

✨The Triple Sec has a very strong scent but it’s an effective, light texture spray that almost has a dry shampoo effect. ⁣

✨I buy the Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair from my hairdresser. This one seems closer to a hairspray than the others. Sometimes I spray it before I curl my hair to help the curls hold. ⁣

✨The smells amazing and gives great hold. It really hangs around in my hair all day. ⁣

✨The Dry Volume Blast is a thickening spray. It seems to make my hair poofier than the others. ⁣

✨The Lifting Powder is the best if you’re looking for a powder. This is super gritty and gives tons of lift! It is great for wearing your hair down and for giving a ponytail some bulk. ⁣

I’ve been trying to rehab some sciatic pain that I’ve had in my left leg since this summer. I’m seeing a local sports chiropractor and I am feeling much better already! I’ve taken some time off from my Peloton though, and while I’ve been off the bike I’ve been doing online Pilates with . I keep doing these workouts and hoping that my legs will suddenly also be 6 feet long, but no luck! 😂⁣

I am feeling stronger and my back feels less achy and I’m really thankful for Melissa’s positive, encouraging workout style. Her flows leave me feeling relaxed but also like I’ve accomplished something! ⁣

My makeup seems to have lost all of its staying power thanks to on and off Covid masking. 😷 I knew a primer would help, but most of them are packed with silicones which have a tendency to clog pores and lead to breakouts for me. ⁣

But I may have found a solution! 🙌There are quite a few water-based, silicone-free options out there and I’m trying this one from right now. ⁣

I took this picture of my makeup at the end of the day, only touching up my lipstick and I feel pretty good about the coverage.

This primer is definitely mattifying, but doesn’t feel heavy on my skin at all. It has powders in it so it goes on with a powder-like texture and then kind of soaks in a bit more as it wears. It really smooths and softens my skin and holds on to my makeup.⁣

You’ll need a foundation or a tinted moisturizer over it for sure. It’s too light to wear on its own. But if you’re finding all your makeup ends up on the inside of your mask and not your face, look for a water-based, silicone-free primer!! I’m a convert! @ Dallas, Texas

When I stopped by the store a few weeks ago, this color, Grateful, was the only one still there. I don’t normally wear a bold red blush but I wanted to give it a shot and I’m glad I did! ⁣

I wear a lot of black, especially in the fall and winter. A bright cheek color works really well to brighten everything up when I’m wearing black next to my face!⁣
