I love educating others about scar camouflage because so many women don’t know it’s an option for them. And doctors don’t always do a great job at prioritizing the scars once their job is done. Sometimes laser is the answer, but more often than not, patients need intervention with ink to actually achieve a better cover up for scars.

Really enjoyed helping this client heal from this injury scar she has been dealing with for 6 years.
We removed her makeup for this photo to show it accurately. Since our treatments, it’s now smoother and the color retained well.
When a light layer of tinted moisturizer is applied it’s hardly visible at all.

This is a brachioplasty scar camouflage for the patients right side.
I previously shared the patients left side results. Here’s how this vantage point is different:
This “before and after” reflects how the scar looked after the first 2 sessions of IPL laser. It went from a deep, vascular red… to a soft, rich pink color.
From there, we performed 4 additional sessions of scar camouflage using ink, to arrive at the photo you see here on the right. It is this combination that allowed the patient to achieve such a natural result with the redness completely resolved.
