Saunas I would never buy!

Saunas from Costco (wood stains, particle board, wood glues, not shielded from EMF or EFL)
These are almost always the cheapest and have every issue I despise

Any sauna with WIFI- they test the EMF when off, no thanks

Any Sauna that uses stains- high VOC

Saunas with wood glues - high VOC

Saunas with TV screens - high emf when running

Cedar saunas or any other wood that had naturally high VOCs (it may smell good when you get in but if you are sensitive it can cause headaches and other issues)

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is especially useful around the house because EPA-registered HOCl products can be labeled for cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting hard nonporous surfaces, including some food-contact surfaces. Some HOCl products are specifically approved for food-contact surfaces with no rinse required, while others require rinsing—so the exact product label matters.

A few quick facts: HOCl can be produced from water + salt + electricity, is generally low-odor and non-abrasive, and certain EPA-registered formulations have demonstrated activity against bacteria and viruses. The required wet/contact time varies by product and organism, so it isn’t accurate to say that every HOCl spray kills 99.9% of germs instantly.

* 🥩 Cutting boards after raw chicken, beef or fish — first remove food/grease, then apply an HOCl product labeled for sanitizing/disinfecting food-contact surfaces and keep it wet for the label’s required contact time.

* 🚰 Sink & faucet handles
* 🗑️ Trash-can lids and handles
* 🧊 Hard, nonporous refrigerator surfaces
* 🍽️ High-chair trays — some EPA-registered HOCl labels specifically include high chairs.

* 🚿 Bathroom counters, sinks, tubs and shower surfaces

This was so cool to pair a visual inspection with a mold dog. Good news is the area we remediated last year is all good, bad news is the new toilet we had installed upstairs was done poorly and now we have to deal with that. I'm greatful it not worse. We also have some sewer gas that needs addressed and Trent also tests for that. If your a local this is a must, I feel like everyone should get this done especially if they are thinking of purchasing or after a remodel to make sure nothing is leaking.
