If you have curly hair, you NEED to know what a curly cast is! 👏🏼

That crunchy, stiff feeling after your curls dry? It’s not a bad thing! 🙌🏼 It’s called a curly cast—a protective layer created by your styling products as they dry.

The cast helps hold your curl shape, reduce frizz, and lock in definition. Once your hair is 100% dry, gently scrunch out the cast with your hands (aka “scrunch out the crunch” 😏) and you’re left with soft, defined curls!

So PLEASE don’t judge your curls while they’re still crunchy! 😂
