Over the past two years, I have come to think of my Georgia clients as friends and family. I want to thank each of you for your support as I tried to grow my business here in Paulding County.

Thank you for celebrating the birth of my baby girl with me and for your well wishes when I had a life saving surgery. Unfortunately, the combination of both of these events have left me unable to sustain the physical location of Spa Noire.

Beginning this week you will be able to book a monthly virtual consultation and receive product recommendations to continue your skincare journey with Spa Noire. You can still purchase skin care products from the website including after care for your Brazilians (like the salicylic or glycolic pads) as well as your favorite cleansers, serums and moisturizers. All of this can be done on the website at spanoire.com (http://www.spanoire.com) .

In the coming weeks, you'll be able book in home visits for facial treatments in Polk, Paulding and Cobb counties. In the meantime, if you need a wax or sugar appointment, you can book with me at Berry Fresh Sugar in Hiram, GA.

Hard to Say Goodbye

Hey Everyone!

Thank you all for being clients over the years and apart of this community. With the birth of my daughter and recent emergency surgery, I haven't been able to maintain the income I need to sustain the spa. I'm sad to announce that this could be my last month at Spa Noire.

If you're able to donate to help save the spa, any amount is greatly appreciated. I have a goal set of $2000 to keep the spa open. If I am unable to reach my goal, November will be the last month at this location.

You will still be able to book appointments online through the rest of this month. I appreciate you all for being the best part of my business. You will also be able to purchase products through my website and book consultations after the month of November you have any skincare questions.

Be Smooth Year Round

As an esthetician, I often hear people say that they can't wait for spring or summer so they can start to wax again.

Truth is, waxing and sugaring are year long activities. Waxing and sugaring on a continuous basis damages the hair follicle. Over time, this damage reduces the amount of hair that grows back which means smoother skin for longer periods of time. If you keep up with your hair removal schedule during the cooler months, during the warmer months you'll experience smoother results for longer periods of time.

Weather Changes Effect Your Skin

Here in Georgia, cooler weather is finally starting to prevail. I think we can all agree that we're ready for cool, crisp air, bonfires and fall fun!

With these weather changes come changes in our skin. Often, during fall and winter seasons, our skin can become dehydrated because the air is dryer during these times. The first thing you want to do if you notice that your skin is starting to flake, or just feels dry or tight in general is get a good moisturizer. I recommend either Skin Script's Hydrating Moisturizer or Cacteen Balancing Moisturizer to tackle this. The hydrating moisturizer is a rich and creamy moisturizer that will keep your skin nourished and protected throughout the day. The balancing moisturizer works to protect and repair your skin's barrier system.

You may also want to switch to a more hydrating cleanser like Skin Script's Honey Brightening Cleanser. It contains mandelic acid to help with hyperpigmentation and lactic acid to act as an anti-aging agent to deeply hydrate and help smooth fine lines.

Cooler weather also means this is the perfect time for corrective skincare. There's less sunlight which means less UV exposure so we can do stronger treatments like chemical peels to correct discoloration and decrease the appearance of fine lines. This weather is great for a chemical peel series or an enzyme peel series to get your skin glowing and looking its best.
