PHASE I SALON HEALTH PROTOCOLS:

Texas Department of Licensing Regulation has recommended new salon procedures to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and keeping everyone as safe as possible while at the salon. Please read the list below of expectations I will be following:

-Only ONE person will be allowed inside at a time.This means that you cannot bring anyone with you to your appointment. If you arrive before your appointment time, please wait in your car and I will text you when it is safe to come in. There will be no more in between appointments scheduled, even if they are within your family. Everyone will need to have a separate appointment. If you are a family trying to schedule multiple back-to-back appointments, that will be acceptable, but you will be responsible for arranging pick up and drop off for each client. There will be no one allowed to sit and wait in the waiting area.

-Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a release of liability waiver as well as a health and travel questionnaire. If you are not willing to sign or answer the questionnaire I will not be performing services for you at this time.

-If you, or anyone you are quarantined with, are sick, running a fever, or showing any COVID-19 like symptoms you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. Please double check your temperature before you arrive. I will be checking my temperature daily before each client.

- If you have traveled outside the DFW area within 10 days of your appointment you will be asked to reschedule your appointment as well. When making your appointment please keep this in mind.

-Hand sanitizer will be provided for you upon entry to prevent germs from coming into the salon.

-Before and after each client I will be disinfecting my entire station including: salon chair, floor, all brushes and tools, sink, doorknobs, bathroom and countertop surfaces. I will be using a clean cape and clean towels for each client, as usual. All clients must stay in the salon area the entire time.

-TDLR recommends all clients wear a mask during times that break the 6ft social distance rule. It is important to me that clients are comfortable during their appointment, so please use your own discretion whether or not you want to wear one. You will need to provide your own. I am comfortable with whatever you choose. As the stylist, I will be wearing a mask the entire time I am within 6ft of clients, including shampooing, cutting, and applying color.

-Hand washing and hand sanitizer will be available at any time you feel like you need it, and I will be washing my hands regularly as well if I’m not wearing gloves during your service.
