We just put up our new Marvy Barber Pole. It replaced our old one that had been up since 1963.

FYI, this is what a business, which has been operating for 57 years, looks like today. The first week in March we were working 7 barbers 5 days a week, and all of them were busy the majority of the time. Now I have 3 barbers working most days and this is what they face. Fear is a dangerous thing, and I'm afraid that it will be the ruin of all small businesses in our country. This situation is being played out all over our nation , as I make this post. I want you to know we have a safe and secure work environment, and you can safely get your hair cut, no matter what the higher powers say. We are not the enemy! We have been operating since May the 8th with no problems. Lastly, I want to thank our customers who are coming in and trying to help us stay in business, for them we are grateful. Please go out and support your small business service providers! Please share this post, so we can stay in business.

Governor Abbott's executive order today opens barbershops as of Friday May 8th. So we will be open this Friday. I would like to thank all of our wonderful clients who have supported us with encouragement, patience and understanding during these difficult days. We look forward to seeing each of you soon! Governor Abbott just spoke about reopening Texas businesses and Barber Shops are remaining closed till Mid May. I know everyone is anxious to get a hair cut, and rest assured that I am anxious to cut hair too. Your patience and encouragement is much appreciated. We will do everything possible to accommodate everyone as soon as we can God bless and be safe!

Preston Forest Barbers is fortunate and blessed to be one of the Texas PPP loans approved and funded as of today. Thank you Lord and President Trump! Now get us back to work!

Just wanted to share with all of our clients that I will be standing in solidarity with all of you, by not having a haircut until this closer of our business is lifted. I know it may appear that it is not a big deal , but for someone who cuts their hair weekly it is a big deal. With these eyebrows I may look like Andy Rooney!
