There are so many reasons we hold onto length, but nothing feels better than letting it go when it’s no longer serving you.
•New Guest Custom Highlight•
My new guest had previously been blending her gray with highlights. At her last appointment elsewhere, permanent color was applied all over—fully covering her gray but leaving a harsh line of demarcation as it grew out.
Our goal was to create a soft, beachy brunette while strategically blending her gray for a seamless, low-maintenance grow-out. She wanted to avoid being tied to salon visits every 6–8 weeks for root retouches.
Transitioning away from solid permanent coverage takes time, but after just one session, her color is beautifully blended with soft, natural dimension—and a much more forgiving grow-out.

These highlights were originally done 9 months ago. With a fresh cut, the color feels revived and intentional again—proof that beautiful color can still look polished, even as it grows.

Chop and reverse balayage for fall. Mostly low-lights, but we still refreshed the face-frame highlights so it would feel more fresh and cohesive. 🍂
