Ask for this look as a client:
Ask for Bold face framing highlights that will grow out easily, with low maintenance dimensions throughout the head! If you feel like your color is looking flat you might consider asking your hairdresser about “midlights”!

Achieve this look as a Hairdresser:
With some tips I’ve picked up from Friends in the I industry over the past year!
Tease 3 back to back sections parallel to the front hairline, paint your lightener in a diagonal pattern to a naturally blended result! Pivot off the part taking 1/2 inch - 1 inch diagonal back pie shaped sections and tease and weave every section (this is a .blonde.chronicles placement favorite of mine, I included a diagram on the next slide) Alternate each section between Lightener and High Lift for a dimensional Highs, Mids, and Lows look, or if you want an overall blonde on the bottom skip the Mids! I personally like the look of ending on a highlight, and my last foil on either side is typically parallel to the Part! On this client I used Truss Air Libre with 20 Volume for my Highs and Schwarzkopf Igora Royal High Lift 12-1 with 40 volume for my Mids! ( often uses High Lift on his brunettes for a caramelized affect and I think it lifts beautifully!)
After letting it process to my desired result, I brushed out the tease and the Blend was already 👩‍🍳💋🤌🏻
But I wanted a Itsy bitsy bit more Pop. To create the Contrast I wanted after pulling foils I toned with Schwarzkopf BlondeMe base break in Soft Cool (base breaking the Mids-ends on a brunette for a warm chocolate feel was something I LOVED learning from )! When my Base break was almost ready I mixed up 5-7, 10-4 and a splash of 0-33 with 6 volume Gel in Igora Vibrance and did a mini Root Shadow melting my root into my bad break! teaches specifically about Shades EQ, which I don’t use very often, but I love how she talks about understanding the reflect of the color you use, and how to “fill” highlights to ensure you fully blending out any foil lines! This look didn’t need a Root Shadow but I love the added Richness that my Copper adjacent shadow added to it!

You guys!!! Meet one of my close friends, Becca! She is one of the kindest and most genuine people I know, and I LOVED spending the day with her! She is expecting baby number 3!! And she was so so ready for this RESET!
