Today, 8 years ago I became a mom.
This girl is slowly growing into a lady right before my eyes.
She is everything that I would want a daughter to be and more.

Happy Monday!! Are you holding yourself back? What excuses are you telling yourself? Stop. Whatever negative talk, excuse, etc you are telling yourself, just STOP. 🛑 Take those negative thoughts, and right the opposite. Turn them into positive thoughts and affirmations.

What have you done for yourself lately? I ask that because we as a society have gotten in the habit of being “busy” and the busier the better. NOT the case!! Take time for yourself. Seriously. Take a 10 min walk by yourself, read a book, watch a movie, get a massage, go to your fav restaurant, go see a movie. You get the idea. Take time for you so that you are pouring back into your spouse, kids, work, business, etc.

If you saw my Insta-story, you know that today was my 2nd of the . I actually started it back on Dec 11, and completed a full week of it. Unfortunately, I got the flu and sinus infection. Last week was the first week I worked out since being sick. But since it was only 4 days instead of my normal 6 days that I workout, I decided to ease my way back in with different workouts. I say this because in life we have set backs. Life happens. Illness takes its toll on us and we choose to bounce back or let us stay down. So, this week I decided to restart it. A fresh start, after being sick. I know I’m getting stronger each day. I share this with you so you don’t give up on you. It doesn’t matter your pace, what matters is the journey that you are on.

Good morning & happy Monday!! When it comes to starting something or getting back on track, we always tell ourselves next Monday or tomorrow. Guess what, there is no PERFECT time!! You have to make the time to be better, do better. Don’t let today get away from you. Draw a line in the sand and start right now. Whatever you are putting your energy in to. Start right now, because the opportunity might not come again.
