July is Fibroid Awareness Month.
I know many black women who have had to deal or are still dealing with Fibroids and often feel like they are alone.
Creating The Fibroid Room was an idea that has blossomed into a greater mission.
Black women shouldn't have to continue to normalize things that are not normal.
We don't have to continue to carry the load and burden that we didn't ask for.
If you or someone you know has been dealing with fibroid, hormonal imbalances, or need to know more about Womb wellness, share this event with them.
Last year, so many women got questions and answers about things they had never discussed before. This is a transformational space.

I have been a registered nurse for 6 years working in ER, IR, pain management, ambulatory clinics, home infusions and PACU!! 🏥

Belive it or not, I'm just like you!!!
Life of an artist with a full time career + a new business 😅😅😅 things can get a little hectic!!
Which is why wearable makeup are my favorite looks to do these days!!! Most days I only have 30-45 minutes, if I'm lucky to get ready and out the door!!
Wearable glam are those looks that are easy to wear AND achieve.
Minimal products, minimal time, glamorous looks!!!

There's something I haven't been telling you...
So I haven't been completely honest with you all but now it's time to come clean. Here goes nothing: I will be retiring from bedside nursing and opening up my own Wellness and Beauty Business!!!

If you're feeling unsure and not comfortable, check in with yourself: is it nerves on your end? Or is something not sitting right with you about the stylist?

I FAILED😪😪😫😫😣😣😩😩😞😞
I never thought I'd share this, but here we are: my biggest FAILURE ever!!
I was trying to be the makeup artist for EVERYONE!! Every client, every event, every aesthetic, every makeup trend and I was lost!!! 😫
Marketing to everyone is marketing to no one!!📬🔑🔑
But here's what I learned: the fact that I failed means I tried. And, plot twist: I didn't really fail at all. If I never did the thing, THAT would be the biggest failure. See how I turned that
around?🤗
So I celebrate 🍾 the failures that have brought me wins!!
