Warming things up this szn.
Adding copper into my chocolate formulas to richen the brown tones. There are so many different shades of brunette hair. We picked a tone that would complement her skin tone and made her dark hair pop.
What do you guys think of her new hair color? Save this for your next hair inspo.❤️

Sometimes it takes time to figure out, but that’s what helps me evolve into a better hair extension artist.
Every client’s scalp health is different. Hair growth is different. Shed cycles are different. Lifestyles are different. No two extension clients are the same. After every install, I’m already thinking about how I can improve the next set and make it even better.
One gap I continue to see in the extension industry is the lack of dimensional color options for clients with natural level 4 hair and darker. Many hair companies only offer 1-3 shades of dimensional color where the root color truly blends with darker natural hair.
Who agrees with me?
As I started sourcing hair and creating custom blends for my clients, I quickly realized these colors aren’t easy to produce. As hairstylists, we also want extension shades that will hold up over time because we want our clients to get the longest life possible out of their investment. But it’s not possible because all colors fades.
I also understand that not every stylist wants to make their own bonds, but I believe it’s an important skill to have in your toolbox for situations like this. These customizations may seem small, but they make a huge difference in creating a seamless result.
Yes, you can place the bond underneath the natural hair and wrap the natural hair around it during a K-tip installation. But when that root color is too light, it will always peek through.
Knowledge is just another tool in your toolbox. You may not need every tool every day, but when the situation calls for it, having that skill can completely change the outcome.
It’s curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking that push us to create something better than what already exists.
And that’s how beautiful work is created.
If you’re looking for a hairstylist who obsesses over the little details and wants your extensions to look and feel as natural as possible, schedule a consultation through the link in my bio. 🤍

Woke up on Friday and my husband said “the trip is booked and we are leaving tomorrow morning.”
If you know me. I’m a planner, over preparer and an over thinker. I’ve always been this way. But one of the reasons why I fell in love with my husband is that he is my complete opposite. He is random, spontaneous and honestly the “best trip planner.” (even if I think it’s all last minute.) I’ve learned to stop asking a million and one questions and just GO!
Life has been hectic and these last few months life has been heavy to carry. I know many of us can relate to this. Financially we didn’t need to book. But sometimes you just got do it and we will figure it out later. Honestly I don’t regret it.
Memories were made. So much laughter, smiles, and love was shared amongst our family of 6. It was worth the trip.
This little weekend getaway was rejuvenating and motivating to get back to work so we can do this more often.
Here are a few photos over this weekend trip. 🫶

A Goth Sailor Moon 🌙
I met Sofia yesterday and we installed her hair today.
She was also a blonde yesterday. Yes, I talked her into going back dark.
Lighter hair could soften her features but her personality is well suited for the dark side.
She almost canceled me last week because she thought her hair was too short for extensions (I was up for a challenge) I convinced her yesterday to get a bob. Andddddd well…..she left with long hair because the blend was too good. 🤣
Nothing went as planned we went off vibes and it came out so good. 🫶
Hair Specs: 150g distributed in micro bonds. I mixed 2 different wave textures to manipulate her natural wave pattern for something a little tighter. This will allow her to air dry her hair a fluffy result. Just in time for summer.

It’s feels special, curated and something that I couldn’t find anywhere else.
Installs moving forward are tailored to all of my clients needs. We won’t settle for anything less.
Sometimes I struggle behind the chair. Days where I don’t feel like I’m even good at my job but it’s all because I’m always on the hunt to improve, grow, and hope to elevate my client’s experience.
And just maybeeee 👀 share this knowledge and product with you all 💕
18 hour transformation in 2 days?!?!!! Was it worth it ?
MOST DEFINITELY!!!
I’m going to need everyone to act surprised with every piece of content I drop over this transformation 🤣 I’m not done talking about her hair.
I’m truly proud of this masterpiece of hair color and extensions I was able to create.

4am mornings, 20 hours, and a vision I couldn’t let go of.
I spent 8 hours hand-prepping k-tips before even stepping into the install… and once I saw it all coming together, I knew this transformation needed a full moment. Had to call my girl to come pamper my client on install day 🤍
This one was personal.
My clients with a natural level 4 hair and darker know the struggle… finding bright blondes with a root that’s actually deep enough and doesn’t turn brassy over time.
So I started sourcing and decided to test making a few new colors myself.
Custom highlights, deeper lowlights, hand-crafted k-tips—every detail designed for a seamless blend that actually lasts.
It was a lot of work… but THIS is why I do it.
The most seamless set I’ve created so far.
Bittersweet moment today—she’s officially back to k-tips, which means I won’t see her again for about 5 months 🥲
But this transformation? Worth every second.

Lived in color will always be in trend in my chair… do you want to know why?
Here are my top 3 reasons.
☝️it’s affordable. Yes my prices are higher but my girls put me to work for 5-6+ hours each time taking them from a level 2-3 to a level 8/9 in one sitting. In addition they only need to see me 1-2 times a year. It’s more affordable to them than paying $200-300+ every 6-12weeks for sessions to get the desired results.
✌️it’s healthier for the hair. The less bleach sessions the better. My clients Maintain the health of their hair with great hair products and quarterly trims.
3️⃣ the grow out is seamless. You get the best of both worlds of being dark and light all at the same time time.
Yes, it’s better for my business to keep you coming often and keep my business going but the integrity of my clients hair and the loyalty that comes with it runs so much longer. To my clients Iykyk love yall. ❤️

A new set of k tips right before Christmas is the best gift to yourself. ❤️
The last set grow out for 5 months. Now this set will get her through the next 5 months before we see summer again.
Because we see each other 2-3 times a year. There are 3 ways we can plan future appointments to make sure clients appointments go smoothly.
❤️We plan future set at the end of her install appointment for next time. (picking colors and length)
❤️clients can come at their removal appointment , give their natural hair a break, and plan their next appointment.
❤️Lastly, clients can come in 1 month prior to sit down and have a consultation to plan their next set without removing their old set. (I do charge for consultations)
I think if each look is different it’s important to communicate in person not via text/email. Extensions are an investment and if you currently have large stock of hair it’s makes it difficult to have room for errors.
What do you guys think of her last set of 2025?
