There’s no question that these 8 week old boys are absolutely adorable. And there’s also no question that Ham is more comfortable with us humans than Yam right now. What’s just as clear, though, is how much Ham is helping Yam, showing him that humans are good, that we’re safe, that we love him, and that we’re here to help, adore, and spoil him while we find them the very best home possible.

One of the biggest reasons we want to keep these two together is because we truly believe they are both happier with each other. They’ve been together since the day they were born. They play together, learn together, and bring each other comfort and confidence. They get along beautifully and deserve to live happily ever after together, and that is very much our plan.

I often say that sometimes we have to love the love into the ones who are a little more shy, especially those who didn’t get the early socialization they needed as tiny babies. That’s exactly what we’re doing, every single day, with both of these sweet boys and their Mama Marmalade. And it’s already working — one gentle moment at a time!

Our $100 kitten adoption fee includes their first year kitten vaccines plus the 2 boosters, rabies vaccine and spay or neuter once age and weight appropriate. They also each will get their first dose of monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention, Nexgard combo, when they are 8 weeks old. They have been dewormed multiple times and have been screened for parasites. Mama tested FIV, FELV and heartworm negative.

Approved applicants will be invited for meet & greets at our foster home in Blanch, NC, about 20 minutes from Danville and roughly an hour from Durham, Wake Forest, and Greensboro. We do adopt outside of our NC/Southern VA area, but adopters are responsible for pickup.

Our adopters may choose from 11 partner veterinary hospitals for any remaining services included in the adoption fee that cannot yet be completed due to the kittens’ age. Clinics are located in:
Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, Greensboro, Mebane, Hillsborough, Winston-Salem, Roxboro, and three locations in Danville, VA.
