Everything is the result of breath. When feeling stress one will breathe one way, when angry one will breathe another, so simply taking care of the breath can change emotion. This is the same concept as a smile or a laugh can cause happiness. That smile changes the current emotion because it relates to another emotion and when focused on the smile the happiness grows.
When anything comes up take some breaths.

One technique is the 4-4-4 method.
🌿 Take a deep breath for 4 counts, expanding your belly
🌿 Pause for 4 counts
🌿 Exhale slowly for 4 counts
🌿 Repeat • Focus only on your breath.
Repeat until the mind becomes clearer or as long as desired.
