This was at church yesterday. He wasn’t separated from his peers; he was included, loved, and treated just like every other child. It’s just an extra chromosome that comes with so much love, not a curse. 💙💛

I was told to stop posting about my son, stating you know he's a minor and he's not well. Let me be clear: Down syndrome is not an illness, it's a genetic condition. My son is okay, loved, and capable and worthy of being seen. I share his story to bring awareness, hope, and faith to other parents.🙏💙

Growing up back home, I remember how children with Down syndrome were deeply misunderstood. Some were stigmatized, labeled as ‘possessed’ or ‘not human,’ and kept away from society. I had a friend whose sister had Down syndrome and was denied the right to go to school simply because of her disability.
Today, I want to help change that narrative. Our children are not curses—they are blessings. They are not to be separated, but embraced. These children are angels, full of love, joy, and purpose. God makes no mistakes. 💛💙

I'm so proud of Sammy. After six weeks in the intensive care unit after he was born, the doctors were concerned about his airway and vocal cords. Today, he can say so many words. To every parent walking a similar path, never give up. There is nothing God cannot do. He is bigger than every diagnosis.
