This logo started with a photo that means more to me than I can really explain. 🤎
The cowgirl was inspired by a family photo passed down to me from my grandma, who was a cowgirl herself. That photo has always held such a special place in my heart, and over the years she ( the photo ) has become a little bit of a muse for me—a reminder of happiness, the woman I want to become, and everything I still want to accomplish.
If you’ve been in my studio, you’ve probably seen her hanging behind me. So when creating Hey Darlin’ Academy, it only felt right to take something that has meant so much to me and use it as inspiration for something of my own—something that represents this next chapter. 🤎
I’ve now been in business for six and a half years and teaching lash extensions for about five years, and I’ve recently added fine line tattoo education. Through all of it, I’ve realized that teaching is one of my biggest passions.
Whether I’m teaching lashes or fine line tattoos, proper technique, healthy natural lashes, healthy skin, and safe practices will always come first. I want my students to leave feeling confident, educated, and prepared to build something successful for themselves.
And to my clients who have trusted me with your lashes and tattoos, supported every new adventure, and continued growing with me—you are such a huge part of why I get to do what I love. I adore and appreciate every single one of you. 🤎

Well… LashCon did it again! 🥹💕✨

What an AMAZING weekend! Getting to see so many of my friends again, make new memories, meet new people, and be surrounded by such an incredible industry was truly something special.

One of my favorite parts was getting to meet some of the amazing brands I’ve followed for YEARS — including brands I’ve personally been using and loving for the last few years. To every single one of you: you are absolute STARS in my book. ⭐️ You deserve every award, every bit of recognition, and every good thing coming your way. It was such a pleasure getting to connect with you in person!

To all of my girls — I already miss you SO much! 🥹 Last year was such a blessing because it brought so many of us together, and I’m beyond grateful that we got another weekend together this year.

And to all of my NEW friends… I’m so happy our paths crossed at LashCon! 💕 I truly believe people come into your life for a reason, and I already can’t wait until we get to see each other again.

This year’s theme was PIVOT & THRIVE, and let me tell you… LashCon understood the assignment. 👏🏼✨ I’m leaving this weekend feeling inspired, grateful, motivated, and ready for what’s next.

Well darlin’… I think it’s time I properly introduced myself — and reintroduced this little dream of mine. ♡

I’m Francesca, the girl behind Hey Darlin Academy, formerly known as Longhorn Beauty Academy.

Longhorn will always be part of my story, but somewhere along the way, I realized I was growing — and my business needed room to grow with me.

So, Hey Darlin Academy was born. 🤠✨

This business is about so much more than lashes and tattoos to me.

It’s about creating a place where you can walk in exactly as you are — whether you’re here to learn a new skill, build a career, get your lashes done, get a tattoo, or simply do something for YOU.

For my future students: you don’t need experience. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to start. I’ll be right there to teach you, support you, answer the questions, and cheer you on along the way. ♡

And for my clients: I’m still here doing what I love — creating beautiful lash extensions and tattoos that help you feel a little more like you.

I have so many ideas for what Hey Darlin Academy can become, and for once, I’m letting myself dream BIG.
