“Why do I need a fill if my lashes still look full?” 🤔
Your natural lashes are constantly growing and shedding. As they grow, the extensions attached to them move farther away from the lash line. When extensions grow out too much, they sit at the very tip of your natural lash—adding extra weight and potentially causing damage or premature shedding.
That’s why fills are recommended every 2–3 weeks. During your fill, we remove those outgrown extensions and replace them with new ones placed properly at the base of your lash line.
For example, this client used to come every 3 weeks because her lashes looked great—but her natural lashes grow quickly (a good thing!). We switched her to a 2-week schedule to keep her lash health in the best shape possible.
As someone who truly cares about your natural lash health:
Please don’t try to push your fill-ins. Listen to your lash artist—they should be advising you on what’s best for your natural lashes, because everyone is different. 💖
