I started in this industry as a hairstylist in 2008 with the mindset that said YES to everything and everyone. It served me in the early years because I was getting more experience with clients than other stylists who were super picky.

There came a time where saying yes and being a people pleaser starting ruining my personal life or depleted it really, all I did was work and when I wasn't working I was to tired to do anything else.

Setting working hours and STICKING to them allowed me space to work ON my business and create a road map to the success that I wanted.

Success to me is being able to be a creative, make a great income AND have a life.
