When she came in, she told me she felt like she looked “haggard.” Her lower face had started to feel heavy to her, and she was self-conscious about her jowling. She wasn’t looking for a different face. She just wanted to feel like herself again.
So before I touched anything, I looked at her whole face together, the way I always do. Using strategically placed filler in her chin, marionettes, jawline, piriform, and cheeks, we added volume back where she had lost it, and repositioned and blended the areas that were creating that heaviness in her lower face.
The result wasn’t a big, dramatic change, and that was the whole point. But she was stunned with her new look - refreshed, rested, and so much more like herself, with all of her natural movement and expressions completely intact.
This is what full facial balancing can do when we treat the face as one connected picture instead of chasing one area at a time. It’s how we keep results looking soft, natural, and like you on your best day.
