Goodbye, Luxe Lift family. I will truly miss you all. What a ride it has been! I am so grateful for everything I have learned, especially from .bobbi, who took me in as her first employee and esthetician. It has been such an adventure, from injuring my shoulder our opening week at the old clinic to everything we’ve been through since. We made it! 🤪 I am glad I was able to be a part of it with you.

To the ladies: Cindy, , , , , and the gents (!) at Luxe Lift, it has been a pleasure getting to know you all. I’m so glad we got to meet up and be our goofy selves outside of work this last weekend one last time. To my clients, thank you so much for your support and for the relationships we’ve built. Most of all, to my daughter, Audriana Alvarez. I don’t mean to be biased, but I will miss you the most. My firstborn, I not only watched you grow into a beautiful soul, but you also watched me grow. Let’s Talk About Laser Hair Removal & Sun Exposure 
 
Laser hair removal is a highly effective treatment, but only when done safely along with multiple sessions consecutively done 4-6 weeks apart. With the summer months approaching, it’s time to be real: unless you’re completely avoiding the sun (no pool days, no vacations, no extended outdoor exposure) all summer long, it is unethical for me to continue or begin laser hair removal treatments. 
 
There’s a reason we call fall and winter “laser season.” Your skin needs to be free from recent sun exposure and tanning (natural or artificial) to reduce the risk of: 
• Burns 
• Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation 
• Permanent skin damage 
 
If you come in for a session and tell me you’ve recently been in the sun—or plan to be—I will respectfully postpone your treatments until summer winds down. No treatment is worth risking your skin’s health.

Consistency is key, and this client has been absolutely killing it with her at home skincare regimen and in office treatments!
