One of my favorite things about K-tips is how low-maintenance they are between move-ups. You can typically go 12–16 weeks without needing an adjustment, which makes them perfect for anyone who loves effortless, long-lasting extensions.

That said, I always recommend popping in once between move-ups for a quick haircut and bond check. This helps me make sure your extensions are still sitting just right, and it gives you a better idea of when you’ll actually need your removal and reinstall. Plus, that little trim keeps the extra length and weight from putting unnecessary tension on your natural hair.

I’ll say it a million times over- extensions are not damaging. People not doing or maintaining them correctly are.

Because it’s not just about attaching hair. It’s about understanding what you’re applying, where you’re applying it, and why that placement matters.

The amount of hair on each bond, the way it matches natural density, and the direction it lays- all of it matters. The goal is comfort, longevity, and zero damage.

Every placement should feel seamless. That’s the standard.
