Just turned 44, so I guess I’m officially in my antiquing era.
I spent part of my birthday weekend wandering through Fairfield Antique & Design, and these were the things I couldn’t stop looking at.
Turns out three of them came home with me.
A handmade feather bird from The Ross Shop by Ross Mathews where every purchase supports animal adoption charities. Birds + animal charity = obviously coming home with me.
A vintage black cat ashtray that immediately made me think of Cher in the ’70s. I have absolutely nothing to back that up, but I stand by it. Bright, bold, and very cool.
A 1912 French fashion illustration by Pierre Brissaud for Gazette du Bon Ton. Over 100 years old and still prettier than most things made today. The peacock blue frame sealed the deal.
Honorable mention to those Art Deco chairs in the banana leaf fabric. They were BEAUTIFUL! I had the perfect spot for them…then I noticed the SOLD sign. You snooze, you lose *sad face*

Listen, sometimes adding more filler just isn’t it.
When lips start looking heavy, blurry, and a little weird… “just add more” is usually not the answer. That crisp border doesn’t magically come back with another syringe.
I didn’t do her original lips, and I’m sure at one point they were beautiful. But with continuous filling, her Cupid’s bow started to disappear and there was some slight migration.
Dissolving is scary, but trust the process.
Now she has her shape back. Her Cupid’s bow is back. The lips look fuller because they’re cleaner — not because they’re overfilled.
Not every lip needs more filler.
Sometimes it needs a reset.
