What is reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy-balancing technique that invites your body’s natural healing response to turn on. Think of it like meditation with a helping hand.

During your facial, our certified Reiki practitioner gently places hands on or just above your head, neck, and shoulders while your skin is being treated. Reiki doesn’t manipulate skin or muscles. Instead, it works with your body’s subtle energy field to help shift you out of “fight-or-flight” and into “rest-and-repair” mode.

What that feels like: Many people describe warmth, gentle tingling, or a wave of calm that washes over them. Some drift into a dreamy, meditative state. Some feel nothing in the moment, but notice they sleep deeper or feel lighter afterward.
