Twelve years ago today, I walked into my salon for my very first day as the owner of Tina Rina Salon & Spa. 💙

Today, I almost let that anniversary slip by while working on everything that comes next. But this milestone deserves a moment.

Owning a business has brought lessons, challenges, friendships, and so many reasons to keep going. To everyone who has booked an appointment, referred a friend, shared a post, or encouraged me along the way—thank you. You’ve helped me build something that means so much to me.

It’s a privilege to be trusted with more than your hair and skin—to share conversations, celebrate your milestones, and give you a place to pause and feel cared for.

As I work toward my next chapter with House of Empowered Beauty, I’m grateful for where this journey began and everyone who has been part of it.

What is reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy-balancing technique that invites your body’s natural healing response to turn on. Think of it like meditation with a helping hand.

During your facial, our certified Reiki practitioner gently places hands on or just above your head, neck, and shoulders while your skin is being treated. Reiki doesn’t manipulate skin or muscles. Instead, it works with your body’s subtle energy field to help shift you out of “fight-or-flight” and into “rest-and-repair” mode.
