Your flat iron should not be a mystery.

Low, medium and high buttons or 0-40 dials just don’t cut it. Keep it as low as you can to get the job done. Also thermostats in hot tools can malfunction so if it seems like it’s running extra toasty it may be time for a new tool.

I will then have to wear gloves, and your cut will take 2x longer because I will be desperately trying to not cut myself again through the gloves. LOL

If your hair is in desperate need of moisture, try the Amika Hydrorush mask or the Matrix Food for Soft mask. I highly recommend them!

Just a once over with a wide tooth comb will really help save your hair from the mechanical damage that brushing your hair wet can cause. Make sure you supervise the little ones because they are notoriously rough about brushing their hair.
