This weekend we had the honor of welcoming KJ Washam from into our salon for a little education 🤓

We learned all things razor cutting, shags, and styling textured hair. We had so much fun learning from her and we can’t wait to see what she does next! 💕

It’s construction season! 😅

Getting to our salon is a little difficult due to Locust St. and Eastern Ave. closures. The easiest way to get to our salon is via Central Park Avenue to Grand Avenue.

We apologize for any inconveniences the road construction has caused 🫶🏻

Follow the H! We’ve added some new signage to help drivers navigate around the Eastern Ave. bridge closure to get to the MercyOne Genesis Davenport campus. Google Maps and Waze are also updated to offer a detour around the bridge. Bridge work is expected to wrap up in November.

As a reminder, we’re reconstructing the bridge using a $2 million federal grant. The new bridge will be about 3 feet higher to defend against flash flooding and to create an underpass for the Duck Creek Recreational Trail.

Rebranding and renovating has been a tough job, but the hard work has definitely paid off. We still have a little bit left to go when it comes to the renovation, but we have come so far in a relatively short amount of time.

Danielle and Jamie have put a lot of love back into this 100 year old building. We’re so happy to share this space with all of the old and new faces that have become a part of our story. 📖
