Nikki is an esthetician, paramedical tattoo artist, and makeup artist here inside House of Empowered Beauty.

She offers facials, sugaring hair removal, makeup artistry, and specializes in 3D ar**la restoration tattooing for breast cancer survivors and transgender community members.

At the heart of Aligned is a commitment to accessible, inclusive, and gender-affirming care. Nikki has created an LGBTQIA+ safe space where clients can feel welcome and comfortable being themselves.

As a business owner, one of the big questions I'm asked is, "Who is your target audience? What types of clients do you serve?"

Is it wrong for me to answer, "Everyone"? Because all people, all gender expressions, and all walks of life deserve to feel "aligned" in their skin and bodies.

So, if you ask me who my target market is, that's what my answer is going to be.

Aligned is accessible luxury care, led by an offbeat, alternative, artistic, goofy, weird, misift Mom who works hard and had a dream of creating a big, expansive, and inclusive table where everyone can come sit.

I do a lot more than just beauty makeup! Every Sept/Oct you can find me acting and doing makeup for Terror at Skellington Manor in Rock Island, IL!

This has been a long-time passion project of mine. I started with the MUA Team in 2017 and eventually became the Lead in 2019. Character and SFX makeup is what inspired me to change my career and become an esthetician, so I owe a lot of who I am today to my Skellington family.

These pictures are from our dress rehearsal run on Saturday night. We open on Friday and run even Fri/Sat from 7pm-12am and Sundays 7pm-10pm! 🎃👻🐈‍⬛️

Between the facial, the sugaring, and the new brows, she was feeling like a whole new person! 😍

For this brow stain I mixed Dark Brown and Black to get a rich deep color that would compliment her black and pink wedding hair, but still have a natural shade to them while looking filled in and glamorous 💜
