Last year was a most difficult year for us. We had so many unexpected things happen, from work, health and family issues. Hopefully, the new year brings good things and a new adventure for us. We would like to share a little bit and hope you understand and forgive us for delaying our service to you.

After the Sadler Square lease termination, we contacted Jonathan (new landlord/partnership) about the shop remodel and the ability to leave furniture (spa chairs) in the shop during the exterior renovations. He never provided us a straight answer, so we moved out and began looking at other locations. Many needed plumbing work to accommodate our needs with one estimating over $40K just for plumbing renovations.

We found a commercial house for sale in town on S. Main St. They accepted our offer, and we hired contractors to check the foundation, termites, lead paint, plumbing and electrical including drawing up a new floor-plan. We submitted the plan to the Town and were told the property “had retail over layer on top which requires 35 feet retail inside premises”. After much discussion, we got an email confirming the house has Retail Overlay District restrictions, so we had to forfeit our offer of purchasing the house. We lost a bit of money, but luckily we didn’t dig a hole too deep that we can’t recover. Please know that we tried our best to make it happen.

During the house planing, Jen received some unwanted news from a recent medical test. She underwent further testing over several weeks, and we are happy to report that all results are negative and she is doing well. Thank goodness!
Thank you to all the friends that called/text us during our tough time. We deeply appreciate your love and care for us.

Now for Good News! We are excited to announce that Davidson Spa is moving into Salon Lofts #21 located at 624 Jetton St. - Davidson, NC 28036. This is located above Milkbread in Davidson. We are working hard to make this happen. Our plan is to be open by the 27th of January, so we can continue to serve our customers and friends.
