📬 MAIL TIME! 📬

Well, you heard her… “She’s checking the mailman!” 😂💌 A.K.A. “I’m checking the mail!”

And thankfully, today’s mailbox check was a success! 🎉📬 We were so happy to see that there was actually mail waiting for Charley today! 🥰

After a few recent empty-mailbox days, we’ll gladly celebrate every piece that makes it into that mailbox! ❤️

Hopefully the streak continues for the rest of the week! 🤞📮 Because around here, every day is better when it’s mail time! 💌

📬💜 PO Box day is one of Charley’s favorite days of the week! 💜📬

Well friends, yesterday was another exciting trip to the PO Box for Charley! You can see just how happy she was to check and see what was waiting for her. 🥰

And this time, her PO Box had not one, but TWO special surprises! 📦💌 A special package AND a card that traveled all the way from Belgium! 🇧🇪 How cool is that?!

Of course, you may notice that toward the end of the video, Charley gets a little distracted by another patron checking their mail. 😂 Apparently, when you love mail as much as Charley does, you have to keep an eye on ALL the mail activity happening around you! 📬👀

We are continually amazed by the kindness and generosity shown to this sweet girl. Thank you to everyone who continues to bless Charley’s PO Box with notes, cards, packages, and words of encouragement. Every piece of mail means so much to her—and to our family. 💜

📬💌 MAIL TIME! 💌📬

You better believe Mom could barely keep up with Charley today! 😂 The second she saw the mailman, she came flying out the door screaming, “MAILMAN, MAILMAN!” 🏃‍♀️📬

And even though there was only ONE circular waiting for her today… that was MORE than enough to make this 10-year-old happy! 🥰❤️ To Charley, mail is mail!

As the mailman pulled away, she happily waved and said, “Bye bye!” 👋📬

You may notice Charley squinting quite a bit in the video. The sun was directly in her eyes, and for those who may not know, Charley has an eye condition that makes her eyes especially sensitive to bright sunlight. ☀️👀

But nothing was going to stop this girl from getting her mail! 😂📬

It’s Mail Time, friends! 💌

📬💌 Well, friends… remember how we told you last night that Charley finally WON at getting the mail yesterday? 😂

Well, these were her two strikeouts before she finally got that mailbox victory! 🥎📬

This was her initial attempt, and you can see her skipping her way to the mailbox because she was SO excited! 😍 She had no idea that the mailbox was about to let her down. 😂

But Charley doesn’t give up when it comes to mail time! 📮❤️ She was determined to keep trying until she got that mail!

Well friends, Charley waited ALL DAY for this mail to come! 😍📮

We had already checked the mailbox TWO times since we got home… but that didn’t stop Charley from insisting on one more trip. 😂 This was attempt 3, and thank the Lord, it was NOT three strikes and we were out! 🙌😂

FINALLY… there was MAIL in the mailbox!!! 🎉📬💌

You should have seen the excitement on her face! After waiting all day and making multiple trips to check, Charley was VERY happy to see that her patience finally paid off. ❤️

Because when you’re Charley, Mail Time waits for NO ONE! 😂📬

📬 MAIL TIME with Charley! 📬

Last week at the post office, Charley picked up her new Wooden Log Cabin package, and Miss Melody gave her a little warning: “That package might be a little too heavy.” 😂📦

Well… not for Charley! 💪🏼

Charley was absolutely INSISTENT that she was carrying that package herself. No help needed, thank you very much! 😆

You might notice a little look of dismay on her face as she makes her way out with her very important delivery, but don’t let that fool you—she was SO happy to be at the post office and getting her package! ❤️📬

When it comes to Mail Time, Charley has a mission… and she’s determined to do it HER way! 😂

📬💌 MAIL TIME WEDNESDAY! 💌📬

Charley still wasn’t quite feeling like her usual self on Wednesday, but even a little under the weather isn’t enough to stop Mail Time! 🥰📦

She made her way to the counter to pick up a package, and something tells me she’s starting to become known around our local post office! 😂❤️ All of the postal workers know Charley now, and she absolutely LOVES that… even if she decided to be a little shy on Wednesday. 🥹

Sometimes Mail Time looks like big excitement, and sometimes it’s a quieter kind of happy. Either way, we’re just glad she still wanted to make her mail stop. 📬❤️

Here’s hoping this week brings our girl back to her happy, energetic self! 💕🤞

Saturday means one thing in Charley’s world… a trip to the Post Office to check her PO Box! 💌📦

So Charley headed out with Dad like usual, ready to see what might be waiting for her. But this Saturday… nothing. 😔

You can see the disappointment as she double-checks that PO Box, just to make absolutely sure we didn’t miss something. Because you never know… there could be mail hiding in there! 😂📬

Nope. Empty.

It’s okay, Charley! We’ll try again on Wednesday. And as we all know, you never know what the next mail day might bring! ❤️📮

Until then… keep those fingers crossed for MAIL! 🤞📬

Well… it’s Sunday. 😂 And apparently, Charley’s internal calendar didn’t get the memo!

For Charley, a 10-year-old autistic girl whose favorite time of day is MAIL TIME, understanding concepts like days of the week and knowing exactly what day it is can sometimes be difficult. So even though Mom explained beforehand that there wouldn’t be any mail today… that didn’t stop Charley from needing to go check for herself. 📫😂

Because when it’s mail time, you CHECK THE MAIL! 😆

And watch until the very end… you’ll hear Charley trying to tell us it’s Sunday. She knows what she wants to say, but sometimes getting the words out can be a little tricky. ❤️

We didn’t cut the video short because these moments are part of Charley, too. There’s no rush, no pressure—just Charley being Charley. 🥰

And honestly… sometimes you just have to let the mailbox prove Mom right. 😂📬

Well, Nana felt a little bad that Charley missed out on her usual mail-time excitement earlier this week… so she knew exactly how to make it up to her! 🥰

Yesterday, Charley got to be in charge of checking Nana’s mailbox! And let me tell you… she was JUST as excited to discover that Nana had mail too! 😂📬

Because to Charley, it doesn’t matter whose mailbox it is… MAIL IS MAIL! 💌🤣

Seeing that mail waiting inside put the biggest smile on her face. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make Charley the happiest—and a mailbox with something inside is definitely one of them! ❤️
