Wow… twenty years. I can hardly believe it.

When I opened High Maintenance Salon, I was about five months pregnant and terrified. I had just left the salon I’d been at for three years, and starting over felt huge and risky. But I took the leap—and we did it. What began as a scary step turned into something truly beautiful.

I want to thank every single client and friend who has supported me over these last two decades. You’ve trusted me, cheered me on, and helped build this little dream into something real.

A heartfelt thank you to my best friend, Jessica Doerman, for believing in me from day one. Two girls starting over in Kettering… and here we are, 20 years later. We did that. 💗

To all the stylists who have been part of this journey—Carla, Kay,Kelly, Courtney, Maryjane, Linda, Jeannie, Kira,Payton, Tiffany, Michael, and Linda, Karen,Marie your talent, presence, and hard work helped shape this salon into what it is today. I could not have done this without you.

I also want to give a special shoutout to my mom and dad. From opening thousands of boxes to helping get the salon ready—your support has meant everything.

And to my husband… thank you for being the quiet force behind the scenes. From fixing floors, doors, leaks, and clogged sinks at 2 a.m., to always making sure the bills were handled—your nonstop support is a huge part of why this place is still standing. I am beyond grateful for you.

To my core clients who have been with me through every season—Nora, Cara,Cindy, Michelle, Desiray, Tasha, and Nicole, terri ,judy debbie,your loyalty and love kept me going more times than you know.
