To Catch a...Sunburn? 😎 Reapply. Reapply. Reapply!! When I hear from a patient about a recent sunburn despite wearing sunscreen, my first question is "Did you reapply?"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FYI: Sunscreen is really only active for about 2 hours 🤯 so reapplication is a must 🙂

I'm a huge devotee of the evening double cleanse! Been doing it since the early 90's, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made concerning my skin. That, and daily SPF starting at age 26.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whenever I do a consultation and a concern is clogging or acne, I ALWAYS recommend the double cleanse. The first cleanse (or pre-cleanse) removes the superficial "gunk" that has settled on the skin during the day, in addition to the morning's makeup, sunscreen, etc. By getting rid of "the day" first, when you cleanse the second time, your cleanser will work more effectively.

My mother is an artist, and I remember going to art stores with her just to look at the brushes and colors, and to see if anything would catch her fancy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Makeup is like that for me...I love wandering around Sephora, looking at the makeup, the colors, the brushes...I find it inspiring to be around it...what can I create today, even if it will only last a day...?
