If you’re new here—or you’ve been following me for a while but don’t really know the person behind the chair—I thought it was time to introduce myself!

Hi! I’m Brooklyn, the owner and stylist behind Pin & Shear LLC! 👋🏼🧡

I’ve been around the beauty industry since I was 16 years old. I started at Doolittlez as a receptionist, went on to attend Empire Beauty School in Green Bay, and after college became a stylist. I spent 5½ years behind the chair before taking the leap and creating my own little space at Pin & Shear.

You may have noticed that my salon is only open part-time. That’s because being a hairstylist isn’t my only job! 😉

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me at Weber Bowling & Awards in Green Bay, where I run the laser engraver and help with all kinds of bowling-related awards and equipment. 🎳

And honestly, that job is a pretty perfect fit for me because bowling is a HUGE part of my life! I bowl leagues, travel for tournaments, and love competing whenever I can. Working at Weber also helps me get a lot of the equipment and things I need for my own bowling leagues and tournaments—which is just another way my worlds all seem to come together. 🎳🧡

And if that wasn’t enough… 😂

I also bartend at a little tavern in Kewaunee on the weekends! 🍻

So yes… I’m ALWAYS a busy girl! Between cutting hair, working at Weber, bartending, bowling, and trying to squeeze in some free time, I definitely keep myself moving. 😂

So… why PIN & SHEAR? 🎳✂️

Two of my biggest loves are hair and bowling, so when I created my business, I wanted my logo to actually represent ME.

🎳 The PIN represents my love for bowling.

✂️ The SHEAR represents my passion for hair.

🧡 And together, they represent the two things that have become such a huge part of who I am.

That’s where “Pin It. Shear It. Love It!” comes from!

And when I’m not in a bowling alley or working one of my many jobs, I love spending time with my boyfriend, friends, and family. And of course, I always make time for plenty of snuggles with my fur baby, Cuda. 🐶🧡

Opening Pin & Shear has been such a big adventure, and I’m so thankful for every person who has trusted me with their hair, supported my business, shared my posts, left reviews, and recommended me to someone else.

This business is a little piece of ME—and now you know why. 🧡
