I know firsthand, from getting my hair cut by her for many years, that Sam at Studio 24 is an incredibly talented hair stylist, and I am so excited that she recently moved her salon to George St here in District 2! Welcome, Sam!

De Pere council moves mask mandate forward

At a special meeting last night, the City of De Pere Common Council voted 5-3 in favor of implementing a city-wide face covering ordinance for public spaces.

The Common Council must approve the proposed ordinance at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 4 before it goes into effect. It would then become an official city-wide mandate upon publication.

The ordinance applies to anyone who is at least 5 years old.

Exceptions apply to individuals:

• With prohibitive disabilities or medical conditions
• Who are exercising at gyms
• Who are attending a place of worship
• Who are outdoors

The resolution establishing penalties for violations of the ordinance will be considered at the Common Council meeting on Aug. 4.

Everyone’s health is our top priority, so we have implemented some safety precautions that we will be following.

We will be wearing masks, and switching them between each appointment. We ask that clients wear masks to their appointment also. If you don’t have one, we will provide one for you. We will be switching our own aprons between each client. We will be disinfecting and sanitizing every touchable surface between each client like we always have.

-When you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your vehicle and we will text/call when it is ok to come in after we have thoroughly cleaned everything.

-There will be hand sanitizer outside our studio door, please sanitize your hands before coming in.

-We are installing new coat hooks at each of our stations so your personal items aren’t hung up by others.

-We ask that everyone comes to their appointment alone, please do not bring along any extra friends or family members unless absolutely necessary. There will not be waiting chairs available.

Because of all of the new PPE we will be using, service prices are being raised to cover costs. Each service is being raised by $5 unless otherwise stated on our price list. A new price list will be available upon request, and will be posted in the salon. I will also post it to my page. Thank you for your understanding with our need to incorporate new safety measure costs into our service prices

Missing work a lot, but I miss Teele even more 😭 Here’s a throwback to the very beginning, before studio 24 salon was born! ❤️❤️

If anyone needs a little chuckle, here’s a throwback picture of Sam and I about 7 years ago. We’ve always worked well together, which is why we started our business together. I probably spend as much time with Samantha as I do my own family, and it’s killing me not to see her and have our salon temporarily closed. Does anyone remember Sam with her pitch black hair? 🤪 She could definitely rock it!
