Jade Salon

Nina is 10 years old. As you can see she’s an absolute sweetheart. Nina lost her owner a year ago when she passed away suddenly. She then went to to owners cousin. Now that owner has to move and can’t take her with her, so we agreed to take her in to make sure she’s kept safe and we can make the determination where she’s placed. If you think shelter work isn’t emotionally tough on us…..you better think again. It’s one week before Christmas and this senior beauty should be snug as a bug on a couch, but here she is. 😞 We are trying to see past this temporary sadness we feel for her and realize there is hope and it’ll be ok. 🙏🏻 Nina has a long growth from her belly that is dangling and bleeding. We are having her seen by our vet tomorrow and we are grateful they are getting us in so quickly. Nothing would make us happier than to see Nina in a home for the holiday, even if temporary. She loves kids. She was sitting on the little girls lap in the back seat when they drove up. We are told she likes other animals too.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the news that salons are opening June 15th!! Starting Tuesday June 9th we will be reaching out to those who had appointments during the time we were closed. For those of you that did not have appointments you will be able to call us at the salon starting June 15th @2:00pm. Thank you for your patience as we try to accommodate a large number of clients. Remember this is hard on everyone as we open up to new procedures. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!!

Due to COVID-19 and Gov. Whitmer’s executive order, the salon will be closed until at least April 14th. We will continue to provide updates of any changes.
