Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself.

I’m Kara, The Owner and stylist here at Wild Opal Salon & Spa.

I’ve been doing hair 15 years. I love Jesus first and foremost, I love my family, I love to serve people. Decorating is definitely something I enjoy a lot. I’m creative, I make Artisan Jewelry. I also enjoy plants, if you don’t already know. I usually go all out on something I’m doing, I don't like things half way done and I'm particular about certain things or maybe a lot of things. I can be extra as I’ve been told, but guess what?! I’m not apologizing for it. God is shaping me and molding me and if he accepts me then that’s that. I realize I’m not everyone cup of tea and that’s okay. I also like to rearrange things, if you have been around the salon for any time at all, you will notice small or big changes. That’s because I’ve a visual person, I like thinking of ways to make things better or more functional and for me to achieve that, I need to see it, walk around it, look at it and think on it to make my final decision.

I’ve been gifted a gift from God to be the owner of the shop for 5 years and growing. Growing you say? Yes growing, because I’m just getting started. I’ve had serval people tell me over time I should be more in the forefronts for people to see my life, to advertise our business. The reality is, That’s not really my style. God has laid on my heart for serval years to share things and it can be hard for me at times, So here I am sharing and giving a peek into my life. To be honest I’m pretty private when it comes to everyone knowing me on the internet, I like my life set aside from the spectical of the world. If you know me at all, You would know I don’t share my family at all really on social media, and yes I do love them Dearly. To some they may think some way about it. To me it’s protection and peace.

Would you believe if you didn’t know me that I’m actually a very outgoing, direct, loving and loud and individual?! The people that know me, will probably laugh when the read this part.

I love with everything in me even to people who do me wrong, I may not always agree or like the circumstances but im grateful God has given me a heart to love and see people a little more like he would. I would say he’s given me a gift of grace.

I love Jesus wholeheartedly. Whoever said this walk with Jesus would be easier when we learned him and followed him I think never really knew him to begin with. I’m learning everyday to hear the voice of God and to be diligent to follow him.
