A local lash artist kept popping up on my fyp so I decided it was a sign to try extensions again.

Yall. I haven’t acted right for a singular moment since I walked out of her suite. Not only are the results incredible but Shamya is so easy to feel comfortable with and our appointment was fun! There was zero discomfort and I loved how nothing felt rushed.

I felt like Shamya did a very thorough consultation prior to my appointment that included her discussing what her plan was and getting my feedback. I had no inspo pictures to show her because I just honestly didn’t know but she gave me exactly what I had imagined in my head without knowing it.

I’m due to go in for my 2 week fill but I can’t even really notice any shedding, the retention is top tier. And I can’t feel them on my lashes.

Morgan County Child Advocacy Center has a special place with me because not only would they have been helpful to me as a child but one of my absolute favorite human beings is among the amazing people who help kids every day.

Morgan County CAC’s purpose is to provide help and healing to children. Last year they helped 525 kids and caregivers, provided 656 trauma therapy sessions, and had 1153 advocacy contacts with families. They are so important to our community because 1 in 10 children are sexually abused before their 18th birthday.

They do so much and ask for so little from the community in return. Individually wrapped snacks and drinks. I think we can handle that.

From August 1st until August 31st if you bring an appropriate snack or drink donation you’ll receive $10 off your service. Bring two and carry another $10 over to your next appointment as well. Two discounts is the maximum you can receive but please do bring more if you feel compelled to. Don’t have anything booked for August but do later? Stop by and drop it off and we’ll put it on your account.

I will hold the donations at the salon and my favorite employee of the MCCAC will come gather them as needed.

PSA: after a week full of no shows & last minute reschedules, I’m taking the weekend completely off.

I will NOT be responding to texts or messages until Tuesday. If you’re trying to reschedule your appointment you can do so with the link you get when you receive (the MULTIPLE) reminder texts. Remember that Vault 41 Salon as a whole has a reschedule/cancel policy of 48 hours.

There will be a price increase to all my services starting October 1st as well as a change to my policy for rebooking after no showing me or canceling last minute. Details will come in a couple of weeks.

I feel like I shouldn’t have to beg for people to respect me and my time but once again, this is not a fun hobby for me. This is my job and my income supports my family and pays my bills. If you lost hundreds of dollars of your weekly income as well as spending HOURS at work for nothing, you’d be just as disappointed as I am.
