Happy Holidays BAC family. The last introduction of the Executive team is that of your President, Amiko Johnson. I received my BS in 1986. I've lived and worked in a number of different States. Currently, my home is Stone Mountain, GA

As BAC Prez, I am of the belief that each of you are part of the BAC. Our responsibilities as BAC ALUMS include recruiting and reclaiming members, raising scholarship funds, planning/scheduling events for BAC Alums across the country, communicating information to fellow Alums, supporting/mentoring our students, and recruiting students. Finally, you should be spreading the word that BAC is BACK.

My personal goal: to get this chapter up and running; leaving it better than I found it. I would like for this chapter to be thriving as the next era of leaders take the helm and build on what we are restarting. If we are to be successful, know YOU MUST DO SOMETHING!!

Is a true believer that if you don't know your past, you might repeat it. Everything from our past should not be repeated. That being said...as you go and exercise your right to vote, let me suggest you take your young ones with you and use it as an educational moment. I have found many of our young ones don't realize someone paid a price for this right to vote. It was not a "given" a few years back, which may be seen as a lifetime to others. Never under estimate the power of one vote. Citizens of GA, this is the last day for early voting....if you don't make it today, get it in Tuesday.
