IF I were to make a flower essence blend for PEOPLE PLEASING… it would look something like this. Flower essences can be used to help us with emotions/mindsets, and the like. They are not essential oils, but both are beneficial when seeking support with emotional balance.
✨Red Chestnut is helpful for people who are overly concerned about other people’s problems, and wellbeing.
✨Willow is helpful for people who become resentful and bitter (when you’ve said yes and didn’t want to).
✨Centaury is for people who neglect their own needs to please and find it difficult to say no.
✨Agrimony is for people who dislike confrontation and give to avoid conflict.
✨Pine is helpful for people who tend to feel inferior or guilty or self blame.
✨Chestnut Bud is helpful when you need support in breaking patterns and learning from mistakes.
✨Mimulus is helpful with facing fears, prone to nervousness, shyness.
❤️ 💜

Today’s aromatic trifecta. VETIVER… smells very earthy and it feels a bit like a quiet anchor when it’s hard to keep your feet on the ground and your head out of the clouds. FRANKINCENSE… had so many good properties for physical and emotional (I mean the three wise men gifted it to Jesus, so that seems like a big deal!) Today, it felt like a good one to throw in for help with stabilizing emotions. BERGAMOT… my favorite oil to uplift the emotions and spirit✨☀️

A few non-massage related items I’ve been working on this past month. I’ve tried my hand at soap making and found I can’t really stop… there’s many more I’ll have available as they finish curing in a couple more weeks. As you can see, they’re wildly imperfect, but I think they smell nice😌. Oh! And a variety of lotion bars too, which I’ve found to be my favorite wintertime way to moisturize hands and body. Feel free to stop by if handmade products are your thing (or someone on your shopping list).

House blend✨ not the kind you can drink, but the kind you can soak up! I’ve been mixing up new combinations and playing with themes of muscle tension and stress… because we all seem to have it🤷‍♀️🤍 The base is always Jojoba oil, but this month I added a little Castor oil and vitamin E oil for a more moisturizing effect. ✨Black pepper (analgesic & provides strength + courage) ✨Clary sage (soothes anxiety) ✨Grapefruit (uplifting) ✨Peppermint (supports black pepper + enhance energy flow to avoid stagnation and fatigue) ✨Lavender (anti-inflammatory + relaxes nervous system) ✨Eucalyptus (relieves pain) ✨Rosemary (reduces pain, increases blood flow). Ready to go during your next massage!

🌸Impatiens🌸 (impatience) Supports our ability to be patient with life’s timing. As well as those with a tendency towards being tense, irritable, and intolerant.
Great for days when it snows sideways in late March and you had your heart set on spring weather…🌷

Making this flower essence blend for a friend going through a difficult time. Flower essences are a fantastic tool to support and bring balance to our mood, and emotional outlooks, as well as our natural temperament. They’re not a replacement for getting professional help (therapy, or other necessary interventions) but offer gentle, safe, non-habit forming support. 🌼White Chestnut to help quiet her mind. 🌼Clematis to anchor her in the present instead of future.
🌼Hornbeam to help motivate and face the day ahead. 🌼Gorse to restore hope and optimism. 🌼Walnut to help adjust to life changes. 🌼Crab Apple to help with perfectionism and self-love.

✨That moment your client asks you to put some oils in the diffuser ✨ She said she liked citrus smells and food smells… so this was the blend I put together. It’s great for this time of year with all kinds of cozy vibes. 🍁 🍁
