Happy Birthday to our Amazing Owner and Master Stylist Dorothy!! 🎂🤍
Dorothy opened up Salon D’Amore 5 years ago today. She had a vision, a dream and ambition. Not only did she create a successful Salon, but she brought a uniqueness to it. Salon D’Amore is known for its amazing talent but also their education. They not only want you to look and feel beautiful, but they want your hair to be healthy and for you to have the tools and knowledge for that. They are constantly growing, making sure they cater to all types of hair styles. They offer makeup services, formal stylings, waxing and more. Dorothy used her skills she’s been perfecting since she was 15 years old and poured it into this Salon.
Dorothy is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person. She cares deeply for her crew and her clients. She is a mother and proud Nonna. She is a dancer! Has danced her whole life since she was a child. She LOVES ice cream. She is an amazing person. We love our Dorothy and wish her the happiest birthday!!✨❤️❤️

“I could scream I am so proud of myself. Thank you so much to all our clients for their business all these years!
The last 5 years has definitely come with its challenges. It has been filled with uncertainty, nerves and anxiety. But also filled with so much beauty. Starting my own Salon with only myself, to now having five stylist beside me who are so very talented is one of the things I am most proud of.
When you feel the vibe and atmosphere that we created for our Salon, you will see that we have grown together with positive leadership. This has come from a lot of collaboration, complimenting each other’s work and helping each other someone needs it. That is why a family has grown out of this with tremendous respect for one another.
We couldn’t be happier for how far the Salon has come. We thank you all for your support. I love my team and what we have built.

Today, I’m celebrating 5 incredible years of Salon D’Amore! 🥂❤️
Five years ago, I took a dream, a lot of faith, and a whole lot of determination and turned it into something I’m so proud of.
These five years have taught me that growth happens through consistency, hard work, passion, and never giving up — even when the road isn’t easy.
Salon D’Amore has become so much more than a salon. It’s a place filled with creativity, friendships, laughter, transformations, and so many beautiful memories.

I can’t tell you how many people gave me the reason why not to start my own Salon, but through it all I found all the reasons why I’m glad I created my own Salon and environment

Staff Highlight Week 6: Our Master Stylist Ray
Ray Kelly has been with Salon D’Amore for 5 years, since the beginning! Owner Dorothy wants to express her gratitude for helping grow our salon and being by her side since the very beginning. It has been a pleasure watching you grow behind the chair.
Because of your ambition to learn, you have absorbed so much technical knowledge. Both from Dorothy and all of the great courses out in Boston at the Lisa Kelly Academy. Plus all of the certifications you are always completing. You have grown into an amazing master stylist and master colorist.
We couldn’t do it without you Ray. We love you and your laugh!! ❤️✨
