Sorcha Brea Farm

In 2003 my husband Dave and I bought 30 acres with just 4 strands of barbwire and lots of potential. Our hopes were to build a sustainable farm from the ground up were we could raise good food and share with other like minded people our hard won knowledge . Since then we have put in water, electricity, phone and more water. We have fell our trees, had them milled and built our house (which is in a constant state of change). We have added animals, land, fence, and still more fence.. We have purchased another 20 acres to add to our farm.. We are constantly on the upgrade to reach a place of diversity and sustainability. Our farm is an “out of pocket” place. One day soon we hope for Dave to retire from outside work to just being home on the farm where we can work together towards our goal..
