We have heard this a lot as hairstylists and have also been asked what the price difference is between a haircut and a trim. Our answer is they are the same price.

I know you might be wondering, “Why are you charging the same for a trim?”

When you say that you want a trim, you say you want the same haircut you had previously, only slightly shorter than it currently is, and to add shape and texture that has been lost between haircuts, or get rid of split ends.

As stylists, we approach a trim with the same skills and time than a haircut. A trim also includes the same relaxing shampoo, condition, and finishing style. So in short, a trim is still considered a haircut, and you’ll leave feeling fresh and pampered after both!
