Hair oiling has recently come under the spotlight & for good reason. ✨
It has so many benefits to soothe the scalp, & help with hair thinning & hair loss.
It’s especially nice in the season change as the air is getting dryer. 🍂

This is not an exhaustive list, but the oils listed can be mixed together for your favorite hair oil cocktail, or even diluted & diffused with water for better absorption & less of a thick layer.

I’ll admit this isn’t my usual type of post.
Almost everyone I know who went to cherish conference is still processing it.
This is something in particular that I haven’t been able to shake.
It was so intense & vivid, I sent it to some friends & asked them to pray with me. One of them suggested I type it out & post it here.
I hesitated for a while. Even though things like this are my normal life, they’re not something I normally post.
But the world is changing, there is a lot going on, & it kind of feels like anything goes. So why not add to & post things that are more authentic to the entirety of who I am?
Who knows, maybe this will help you or somebody you know who feels like something is moving in their spirit.

So often we romanticize the past, that old relationship, that previous best friend.
We think that we need a ‘new’ product or environment to get the juices flowing again.
And while getting a new haircut or changing the pace in the new place on vacation certainly helps,
let’s not forget that the person that ultimately brought all the value & wonder to any of those things or moments was you.
You are still exciting.
You make those relationships meaningful.
You have great ideas.
You make that lipstick look good.

Some weekends aren’t as eventful as living through a hurricane (I expected way more from Hilary) ⛈️
Troy practically cooked everything in the house, & we made some serious progress on Game of Thrones. I’m late to the show, I know.
All in all, it did provide us the opportunity to just stay in together, relax & connect.
I hope you all got to enjoy the rain as much as we did.
